Austin Energy founded its Electric Vehicle and Emerging Technologies program almost a decade ago, when interest in consumer purchasing of EVs hovered around one percent. Recognizing the incredible potential for transportation electrification, their mission was to sell an idea, capture people's imaginations and engage customers with a community-first approach.
